			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recently there has been some growing negative buzz regard everyones favorite bookmarking sites.  Specifically with regard to putting your personal privacy in the hands of other people.  There&#8217;s a really good <a href="http://albumoftheday.com/facebook/">flash presentation</a> that gives you the idea.</p>
<p>Which got me thinking: &#8220;What am I really getting out of this relationship?&#8221;  And: &#8220;Can&#8217;t I do this on my own?&#8221;  That is why I will be investing myself more heavily here and pulling back on Myspace and Facebook in the near future.  At least here I can control who gets to see what.</p>
<p>Not to mention the fact that now <em>I </em>get to benefit from the ads that grace my page. <img src='http://jpgrace.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
